Guess what? I'm on YouTube, and the video has almost 62,000 views! It was last fall, scUM vs. MSU in hockey at Munn Ice Arena. Dan Richardson, John VanSchagen and I buy SRO tickets to the sold out game. When we get in, we see that the entire SMB - not just Spartan Brass - is there. During the 2nd intermission, the band goes out on the ice to play a couple of tunes. There was a freshman tuba who came back to get his music or something. Of course, John (also seen in the video) and I started abusing him for being "late, freshman, you should be there by now." So, in his haste to catch up, he slips on the bench. Of course, the game was being shown on national TV (CSTV, a subsidiary of CBS) and a camera was trained on our hapless freshman. You'll notice me; I'm the one not spilling my Pepsi trying to help up the poor freshman. Many people have noted that I "didn't spill my beer." But, you have to realize that this was Munn and there was no beer allowed, however, the muscle memory is the same. :)

Daddy/Daughter Dance 2007
Went to the 2007 Daddy/Daughter dance last Friday night. Another good time was had by all. Even broke out my tux for the affair. My daughters were very impressed by that. They really felt special, and so did I. But, Duke Shegos beat me out this year; he had all four daughters with him this time. Didn't matter. I still had a ball, too.
